What are Meringue Kisses?

These mini meringues are a great little sweet party nibble. You can also pop them on top of a summer bake or dessert to stunning effect.

250g     Flavoured Whipping it Up Mixture flavour of your choice

135ml   Warm (Room Temperature) Water



Preheat oven to 275°F (120°C). 

Preheat the oven to 120c Fan assisted

  1. Place 250g mixture and 135ml water into a Grease free clean mixing bowl with a whisk attachment, blend until light and fluffy, forming stiff peaks, like meringue.
  2. Fill a piping bag, using various nozzles a 1M Star tip or large round tip is great.
  3. Pipe on to greaseproof paper on a baking tray.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes, you should be able to tap the base or see they have changed colour to light caramel colour on the base once baked.
  5. Turn off the oven and leave to cool for a couple of hours with the door slightly open.

Top Tips

The smaller they are, bake for less time eg approximately 40-50 minutes

The lager they are, bake for long eg approximately up to an hour.

When they lift off the greaseproof paper they are cooked, you can now remove from the oven.
