Ingredients

1 x Pack of Ready to Roll Puff Pastry
200g Mixed Dried Fruit
100g Sugar and Crumbs Gingerbread Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar
2 Tbsp Plain Flour
20ml Warm Water
1 Large Egg
A splash of Milk

Royal Icing Topping

2 x Tablespoons of Sugar and Crumbs Whipping it Up Vanilla
1 Tablespoon Boiling water
Spinkles – Ive used the Sprinklicious Christmas Magic ones.

Instructions

1. Unroll the pastry so it can come to room temp and preheat the oven to 180C.

2. Add the Mixed Dried Fruit, Gingerbread Icing Sugar, flour and water into a bowl and mix together until combined.

3. Cut out 12 Christmas Tree shapes using a cutter, 3 of the shapes cut a triangle shape out of the middle using a small knife.  Place on a piece of baking paper on a baking tray.

4. Put a tablespoon of the fruit mix in the centre of 6 of the trees.

5. Beat the egg with a splash of milk and then using a pastry brush, brush the edges of the 6 filled trees, top the 6 trees with the remaining pastry trees.

6. Brush the top of each Christmas Tree with more egg mix.

7. Bake in the oven for 15mins or until puffed up and golden.

8. Leave to cool on the baking tray, while you make the royal icing.

9. To make the royal icing add the Whipping it Up to a small bowl and add a little bit of the water, mix in until you get a thick consistency.

10. When the trees are cool take a piping bag and fill with the royal icing, snip off a tiny bit from the tip.

11.  Pipe onto the tree as desired and cover with sprinkles.

They will keep well for 2-3 days in an airtight container.
