Caramel Dessert Sauce (Pouring)

Caramel Sauce made using our Sugar and Crumbs Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar.

What is Caramel Sauce?

Caramel sauce is a thick but runny sauce used to drizzle over desserts such as ice-cream, apple pie, cakes and more!

150g Granulated Sugar 
100g Sugar and Crumbs Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar (Flavour of your choice)
75ml Water 
200ml Double Cream 
60g Unsalted Butter 


1. Place the water and sugars in a heavy based saucepan over a low heat and melt until dissolved stirring all the time.

2. Turn up the heat to medium and let it bubble until it changes to an amber colour , 5 to 10 minutes, but don’t stir, take it off the heat.

3. Add the cream whisk in, add the butter whisk in until melted.

4. Leave to cool completely then refrigerate.

Store in the fridge in an airtight container and use within 2 weeks.
