For a great snack you can have on the go, this is an easy recipe and flapjacks can be stored in an airtight container for a week

Preheat the oven to 180c/160 fan gas mark 4, grease a baking tray.
In a saucepan on a low heat melt the butter, sugar and syrup, stirring until all melted and combined.
Take off the heat and add in the flour, oats and sultanas, stir until all the dry ingredients are coated.
Let the Mixture cool so you can pick it up and shape into even sized balls, flatten each ball slightly and place on the baking tray.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool fully and then serve
Flapjacks can be kept in an airtight container for upto a week
